Amy & Ben

Dry Hire Wedding

Amy and Ben wanted their wedding to have two sides: an elegant, timeless atmosphere for the ceremony and wedding breakfast, and a fun and colourful evening party, celebrating their Moroccan and Jewish heritage.

Amy and Ben’s love story started in Israel, where they met whilst on holiday. To pay homage to their story they illustrated their table plan to feature all the special places they hold dear.  The cake followed this motif, with a subtle henna stencil pattern on the icing as a nod to Amy’s Moroccan roots.

Planning the ceremony was a little tricky due to various religious requirements, and family preferences, but they pulled it off, and everything was perfect on their big day. The real standout moment for them was when their adorable pug, Truffle, acted as ring bearer—he was a little star and loved being the centre of attention!

It was a truly unique wedding, a perfect fusion of Sephardi and Ashkenazi Jewish culture in a grand, English stately home with guests attending from all over the world!

What our couples say

Amy & Ben Hedsor House is not only beautiful but rich in history and heritage. Once we visited it for the first time, we couldn’t imagine getting married anywhere else. The cherry on top was that it was dog-friendly, which meant that our little pug, Truffle, could be part of our special day.
